For the second time, Australian manufacturer REDARC will be showcasing its range of products at the Solutrans tradeshow in Lyon, France. This event will take place from the 19th – 23rd of November, with REDARC located at Stand 6 W 095.
Aimed at road and urban transport professionals, Solutrans is the leading biannual international haulage and transport trade fair. As the largest trade fair of its type, exhibitors include manufacturers and experts from a variety of fields including industrial vehicles, light commercial vehicles, semi-trailer and trailers, tyres, and telematics.
REDARC’s Export Manager, Craig Herriot said, “We are excited to be attending Solutrans for the second time. It is one of the most important global events that we attend and allows us to get in front of customers from all around the world.”
The event will be important for REDARC as we launch our BCDC1250D DC-DC In-vehicle battery charger to the European market.
The BCDC1250D is the most powerful in REDARC’s BCDC range and has been designed to charge all major lead-acid batteries, it also includes a lithium (LiFeP04) charging profile.
With an inbuilt ‘Green Power Priority’ the unit will select solar charging first, taking the load off the vehicle’s alternator. The BCDC1250D has also been engineered to feature an additional charging state known as SoftStart to handle more demanding applications and provide a higher current output.
“The BCDC Dual range has been well received in Europe,” added Craig.
“We’ve received positive feedback from the three largest customised OEM’s - Peugeot/Citroen, Renault and Fiat – and are now recommended as the solution for charging an auxiliary battery. The BCDC1250D gives consumers more choice and is ideal for fast charging of 12-volt accessories.”
Along with the BCDC1250D, REDARC will be displaying their range of products including their BCDC In-vehicle charger range, the Manager30 Battery Management System, Charge Equalisers, DC Power Supplies and Smart Battery Isolators.
Solutrans will be host 610 exhibitors from 18 different countries and over 48,000 visitors. Located at Stand 6 W 095, REDARC will have experts available to discuss products and help with any questions.
