REDARC engineers have spent a significant amount of time researching, developing and testing the next generation of solar panel kits that are lightweight, and have superior monocrystalline cells.
Portable Solar Panels are available in 120 and 160 watt power ratings, and feature highly efficient ‘A’ grade Monocrystalline cell technology. The panels lightweight leg design includes adjustable legs which ensure the panels can be angled towards the sun and be moved as required. The panels also come with a 5m Anderson™ to Anderson™ cable.
The improved folding panels have been added to REDARC’s successful range of solar blankets and accessories which were launched last August.
The range includes three black Solar Blankets SunPower® Cell in 115, 150 and 190 watt power ratings and a flexible 112 watt red Solar Blanket Amorphous cell. Portable and light weight, they can be easily moved to optimise the energy output from the sun. The range is smaller and lighter than a comparable wattage portable glass panel.
The black solar blankets come with SunPower® cells. These cells have been designed for portability and strength and feature no grid lines, a solid copper backing and thick connectors for higher efficiency.
The Solar Blanket Amorphous Cell features a flexible design, helping to reduce cell breakage and cracks. The amorphous blanket is known to perform better in low light conditions and thanks to its Uni-Solar® cells, it is able to capture the full spectrum of light compared to conventional Monocrystalline and Polycrystalline cells.
The Solar Blankets and Solar Panel Kits also include genuine industry standard Anderson™ SB™50 plug connectors making installation easier – just plug and play.
Solar Regulators, in various power ratings and remote monitors are also available to complement the Solar Blanket and Panel range. In addition, REDARC’s extensive range of cables and adaptors offer easy connection to the Solar Blankets and Folding Solar Panels using Anderson™ SB™50 connectors. The range offers the ability to set up in a shady area but still get the most out of the sun. What’s more, they can be used with REDARC’s BCDC and Battery Management System range.
The full REDARC solar range also includes Monocrystalline Solar Panels in 50, 80, 120, 150 watt power ratings, and a slim-line 150 watt design. They are ideal for permanent installation on the roof a vehicle, caravan, camper trailer or motorhome. The cells are also made from highly efficient ‘A’ grade monocrystalline technology. They are also protected with tempered glass coating and a sturdy aluminium frame. This ensures the panels will withstand Australia’s harsh roads and extreme weather conditions.
