High School Work Experience

As part of REDARC's commitment to developing professional and capable students, we are proud to offer high school students an opportunity to undertake a period of work experience.

Typically REDARC offers one week in the Production area where students will be exposed to many aspects of an electronic manufacturing environment.

All applicants are subject to a brief interview before being approved.  


University Industry Experience 

As part of REDARC's commitment to engineering and business growth, REDARC offers undergraduate engineering students the opportunity to undertake their industrial experience within Redarc's manufacturing facility in Lonsdale, South Australia.

Through our Vocational Work Experience Program, run annually, successful candidates will gain hands-on experience and be exposed to real-life projects, whilst being rotated through the Production, Testing and R&D areas of the company.

REDARC also offers a structured learning and development scheme through the REDARC Industrial Experience Program. It is designed to enable you to enhance your technical, business and people skills. Students contemplating this program must have completed a minimum of two years (2) of their degree and must be eligible to work in Australia. Industrial Experience at REDARC is paid work.

We are interested in Engineering Students engaged in studies in the following degrees:

  • Computer Systems Engineering
  • Electrical & Mechatronic Engineering
  • Electronics & Micro Engineering
  • Electrical & Electronic Engineering
  • Information Technology & Telecommunications Engineering

Work experience placements are subject to availability and business requirements.

University Final Year Projects

REDARC also offers a final year project to one final year engineering student in our endeavour to develop professional and capable graduates. 

As well as offering a technical challenge, the project will consolidate student knowledge in the following areas:

  • Project Planning & Scheduling
  • Project Research
  • Project Management
  • Circuit Layout using Protel
  • Prototyping
  • Testing
  • Design & Test Reviews


Graduate Opportunities

The number of graduate positions available does change year to year, but we make every effort to maximise yearly intake for any keen engineer who can bring with them cutting-edge engineering excellence. 

Graduate positions generally commence at the beginning of each calendar year, although positions may also become available throughout the year.
